====================== Call for Contributions ====================== 43rd European Workshop on Computational Geometry (EuroCG 2027) Organized as an event of the Computational Geometry Society https://computational-geometry.org/ April 7-9, 2027, Norrköping, Sweden https://eurocg2027.on.liu.se/ EuroCG 2027 will be held from April 7 to April 9 in Norrköping, Sweden. EuroCG is an annual workshop that combines a strong scientific tradition with a friendly and informal atmosphere. The workshop is a forum where established researchers and students can meet, discuss their work, present their results, and establish scientific collaborations. =============== Important Dates =============== - Submission deadline: January 17, 2027 - Acceptance notification: March 3, 2027 - Early registration ends: March 17, 2027 - Camera-ready version due: March 24, 2027 - Registration ends: March 31, 2027 - EuroCG 2027: April 7-9, 2027 All deadlines are at 23:59 AoE. ===================== Submission Guidelines ===================== We invite authors to submit extended abstracts of their original research that has not been published before January 1, 2026, and has not been presented at a previous edition of EuroCG. If a submission consists of work that has been published already, the submission must provide the name of the respective conference or journal and the date of publication. The authors themselves are responsible for ensuring that they do not violate copyright laws. Already published work may receive fewer and less detailed reviews. Submissions will be handled through EasyChair. Each submission must not exceed 175 lines of text, excluding title, references, and appendix. Submissions must be prepared using the eurocg27 LaTeX class, available from the EuroCG 2027 website, where you can also find a zip archive containing an example of how to use the class. The eurocg27 class is a wrapper around the standard LIPIcs class, similar to the class used for SoCG. The standard LIPIcs class and its author instructions are available from the Dagstuhl website. The class automatically counts lines containing text, excluding title-page metadata, references, and figures. Authors should nevertheless make a reasonable effort to ensure that the line count is correct. The count produced by the class is intended as an aid, and authors remain responsible for the accuracy of the count and for ensuring that their submission complies with the line limit. The main body (of 175 lines) should be self-contained and provide a clear and succinct description of the main results and an indication for their correctness. Content that does not fit in the main body due to space restrictions must be placed in a clearly marked appendix, which will only be read at the discretion of the program committee. These rules also apply to submissions concerning already published papers. Submissions should contain names and affiliations of authors. Following the decision taken at the business meeting of the 2026 edition of EuroCG in Hagen, authors may choose whether to include their extended abstract in the booklet of contributions. Authors who prefer not to include their extended abstract should submit their contribution according to the same procedures and requirements as authors whose extended abstract is included, and additionally provide a one-page abstract containing a link to the full paper. For accepted contributions, the one-page abstract and link will be included in the booklet in place of the extended abstract. ================== Topics of Interest ================== Topics of interest cover all aspects of computational geometry, including but not limited to the following: - Discrete and combinatorial geometry and topology - Design and analysis of geometric algorithms and data structures - Implementation and experimental evaluation of geometric algorithms - Numerical and algebraic issues arising from implementations - Analysis of geometric configurations - Geometric modeling, visualization and simulation - Combinatorial optimization - Graph drawing - Structural molecular biology - Geometric puzzle analysis - Applications of computational geometry - Geographic information systems - Robotics and virtual worlds - Computer-aided design and manufacturing ================= Acceptance Policy ================= EuroCG is a non-competitive forum and there is no competitive selection process. As in previous editions, we aim to accept all submissions that are original, non-trivial, correct, well-presented, and in scope. However, if we receive substantially more submissions than in previous editions, we may not be able to accept all submissions that meet these criteria. Submissions must satisfy all five criteria, and failing to meet any of them may lead to rejection. In particular, a submission may be rejected - If it does not contain original research by the authors, or if there is good reason to believe that this is the case. - If it contains a main result with an erroneous proof, or if the provided material is insufficient to establish the correctness of the results (however, acceptance at EuroCG does not guarantee correctness). - If it is unreadable, or does not follow the submission guidelines provided above. - If it does not comply with the AI policy. ================= Presentation ================= At EuroCG, we want to give as many participants as possible the opportunity to present their work. We therefore encourage participants to give at most one talk each, although this is not a strict constraint. For this purpose, we ask authors to indicate the intended presenter for each contribution at the time of submission. There is no restriction on the number of contributions a person may co-author. ================= AI Policy ================= Human authorship and responsibility: All listed authors must be human and are fully responsible for the integrity, accuracy, originality, and copyright of their submission. AI methodology: Authors who use AI tools must explicitly disclose this information using a dedicated command from the LaTeX template for EuroCG. Use of LLMs in reviewing and evaluating papers: PC members are prohibited from using generative AI tools during the review process. ======================== Proceedings and Special Issue ======================== EuroCG does not have formally reviewed proceedings. A booklet of abstracts, without an ISBN, will be accessible online on the website for the benefit of the community. It must be regarded as a collection of preprints rather than a formally reviewed selection of papers. Results presented at EuroCG are expected to appear (or have appeared) in other conferences with formal proceedings and/or in journals. Authors of selected papers will be invited to submit full versions to a special issue of the journal Computing in Geometry and Topology (CGT). ===================== Conference Attendance ===================== EuroCG is dedicated to providing an environment that is free from harassment, bullying, discrimination, and retaliation for all participants. Following the decision made at EuroCG 2024 (https://www.computational-geometry.org/eurocg/policies/), EuroCG is organized as an event of the CG Society (https://www.computational-geometry.org) and only members of the CG Society may attend EuroCG 2027. Society membership is free of charge. All members of the CG Society are bound by its Code of Conduct (https://computational-geometry.org/society/code-of-conduct/). Moreover, SafeToC advocates will be present at EuroCG 2027 (https://safetoc.org/). EuroCG is an in-person event, and all presentations are expected to be given on site. At least one author of each accepted contribution must attend EuroCG as a member of the CG Society and present the work. If no author attends, the contribution may be removed from the program, the booklet of abstracts, and the workshop website. There will also be a vote for the Best Student Presentation Award. ================ Invited Speakers ================ - Mikkel Abrahamsen (University of Copenhagen) - Tamara Mchedlidze (Utrecht University) - Joseph S.
