"DISCRETE GEOMETRIC MODELS"
is now available in the framework of the ERC ADVANCED GRANT project
"SDModels: Structured Discrete Models as a basis for studies
in Geometry, Numerical Analysis, Topology, and Visualization"
at the Technische Universität Berlin.
The successful candidate will be active in research in the broad
research framework of the "SDModels" ERC Advanced Grant awarded to
Prof. Günter M. Ziegler, and will contribute to teaching in the area
of discrete geometry and related fields.
The research group at TU Berlin provides an excellent environment for
both research and teaching. It offers rich possibilities to participate
in research and doctoral programs such as the application area
"Networks" at the DFG Research Center MATHEON, the DFG Research
Training Group "Methods for Discrete Structures", and the Berlin
Mathematical School (Graduate School in the framework of the German
Excellence Initiative).
Candidates must satisfy the requirements for junior professorship
appointments according to §102a of the Berliner Hochschulgesetz (BerlHG).
