La Faculté des Sciences de l'Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB)
annonce la vacance d'un poste académique à temps plein d'une durée de 1
an au Département de Mathématique à partir du 1er octobre 2011.
Il est attendu des candidats qu'ils dispensent un enseignement de
qualité et qu'ils mènent des recherches de haut niveau. Des recherches
dans le domaine de mathématiques discrètes constituent un atout. Les
candidats doivent également être en possession d'une thèse de doctorat
dans un domaine des mathématiques, et avoir publié des articles de
recherche de niveau international. Le candidat renforcera par ses
recherches l'une des équipes de recherche du Département de
Mathématique.
Le (la) titulaire de ce poste enseignera en français à tous les niveaux
en mathématiques pour un total d'environ 120 heures de cours par an (il
est possible que l'intéressé(e) soit amené(e) à encadrer des séances
d'exercice).

The Faculty of Sciences of Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB,
Brussels) invites applications for a 1 year full-time academic position
within the Department of Mathematics, beginning October 1st 2011.
The successful candidate should be proficient both in teaching and in
research. Publications in Discrete Mathematics are a plus. Candidates
should hold a PhD degree in Mathematics, and have a record of
international-level research publications. The successful candidate
will reinforce one of the research teams of the Department of
Mathematics.
He or she will teach mathematics classes (possibly also exercises), in
french, at all levels, for a total of around 120 lecture hours.
