The Department of Computer Science, University of Copenhagen, Denmark seeks
an assistant professor within algorithms.
The department is expanding in algorithms, recently hiring Professor Mikkel
Thorup. As part of the Algorithms and Programming Languages research group,
the successful applicant will join the teaching and research activities
related to algorithms at the department, including collaboration with
researchers from other areas such as programming language technology,
combinatorial optimization, high-performance computing, data mining and
machine learning.
The applicant should have a solid record at top algorithmic conferences such
as STOC, FOCS and SODA.

PhD Scholarship within Algorithms

The candidate must have a background within algorithms as demonstrated by
graduate level courses and/or project and thesis work within this research
