SSS 2012 Travel Scholarships
14th International Symposium on Stabilization, Safety,
and Security of Distributed Systems

The 14th International Symposium on Stabilization, Safety, and Security of
Distributed Systems (SSS 2012) will be held in Toronto, Canada, during
October 1-4, 2012. With funding from the US National Science Foundation, a
limited number of travel scholarships will be made available to US-based
students or postdoctoral fellow participants (i.e., participants currently
studying at a US university, or holding a postdoctoral research position at
a US institution.)
To apply for this scholarship, please submit an application by email to
Xinhui Hu (xinhui.hu@asu.edu) with the following information:
1. Your CV
2. A research statement
3. A statement about the benefits to be accrued from your participation in
SSS 2012
4. An endorsement from your advisor
5. An estimate of your travel expenses
6. Financial commitment from your advisor / institution
The amount of travel support will be based on the need as well as the
availability of funds. Women and minority applicants are especially
encouraged to apply, and such applicants should identify themselves in the
application.
The deadline for submitting this application is September 8, 2012. The
results will be announced by September 11, 2012.
