** Efficiency and Complexity in Congestion Games **
Salary £31,020 - £35,939 per annum
Working on an ESRC-funded project (Efficiency and Complexity
in Congestion Games) you will study the application of
congestion games to demand management systems. The project
partners are the University of Liverpool and the
Xerox Research Centre Europe in Grenoble, France.
You will be based in the Economics & Computation Research
Group at the Department of Computer Science, University
of Liverpool, UK, and will work under the supervision of
Dr Martin Gairing.
You should have (or be about to obtain) a PhD in Computer
Science or a closely related discipline and have excellent
communication skills. You should have an excellent background
in the mathematical analysis of algorithms and ideally have
some experience in the area of Algorithmic Game Theory.
The post is available for 12 months. The intended starting date is
1 October 2012, or any date later by mutual agreement.
