---------------------
The International Conference on Hybrid Intelligent Systems (HIS) is a
major international conference brings together researchers,
developers, practitioners, and users of soft computing, computational
intelligence, agents, logic programming, and several other intelligent
computing techniques. Hybridization of intelligent systems is a
promising research field of computational intelligence focusing on
synergistic combinations of multiple approaches to develop the next
generation of intelligent systems. A fundamental stimulus to the
investigations of Hybrid Intelligent Systems (HIS) is the awareness
that combined approaches will be necessary if the remaining tough
problems in Artificial Intelligence are to be solved.
HIS'13 invites authors to submit their original and unpublished work
that demonstrate current research using soft computing, computational
intelligence and other intelligent computing techniques and their
applications in science, technology, business and commerce.

Author Guidelines:
---------------------------------------------
Submission of paper should be made through the submission link:
https://www.easychair.org/account/signin.cgi?conf=his20130
All submissions should be in the IEEE 8.5 two-column format. The page
limit for a full-length paper is 6 pages. Short papers describing
novel research visions, work-in-progress or less mature results are
also welcome, with the limit of 4 pages. Please refer to the
conference website for guidelines to prepare your manuscript.
All accepted papers will be compiled in conference proceedings
published by the IEEE. It is mandatory at least an author registers
for every paper that is included in the conference proceedings.
Proceedings will be made available during the conference. Accepted
papers must be presented by author(s) personally to be published in
the conference proceedings.
Expanded versions of HIS 2013 selected papers will be published in
special issues of internationally referred journals (indexed by SCI)
and edited volumes.
Important Dates:
---------------------------------------------
Paper submission due: September 30, 2013
Notification of paper acceptance: October 20, 2013
