MSc Operational Research scholarships
Dept. of Management Science
Strathclyde Business School, Glasgow, UK
We have scholarships available for our full-time MSc Operational Research course in the academic year 2015/16. The studentships are fee-waiver only, covering the full fee of £9,000 for UK and EU students. Students with UK/EU citizenship and resident in the UK/EU at least in the last 3 years are eligible to apply. Students with any other nationality are eligible to apply only if they are settled in the UK (have "indefinite leave to remain"). We will award a number of studentships.
The applicants are strictly required to have a First Class Honours (undergraduate) degree, or equivalent (that is, a minimum 3.5 GPA in a 4.0 GPA system, or a minimum 90% average, or a minimum average of A- in a letter system). Applicants should have their degree in a numerical subject, including but not limited to Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering and Economics. Applicants should also upload with their scholarship application, a personal statement outlining their interest in the programme and scholarship award.
These scholarships are only open to those who hold an offer of a place on the MSc Operational Research course. Candidates must be self-funded (that is, not in receipt of any funding from any other scholarship, employer sponsorship etc.). Students already registered on the degree are ineligible.
Applications not satisfying eligibility requirements or not following the above guidelines will be disregarded. You can apply for a scholarship here http://www.strath.ac.uk/mansci/programmes/postgraduate/mscoperationalresearch/scholarships/
The application deadline is Friday 27 February 2015, 17:00 GMT.
