we are happy to announce that version 3.2 of the SCIP Optimization Suite
has been released. It consists of:
- the MIP, MINLP, and CIP solver SCIP 3.2,
- the LP solver SoPlex 2.2,
- the mathematical programming language ZIMPL 3.3.3,
- the generic branch-cut-and-price solver GCG 2.1, and
- the parallelization framework UG 0.8.
The SCIP Optimization Suite 3.2 provides many new features, performance
improvements, and bug fixes. This includes the possibility to compute
exact rational solutions of an LP with SoPlex, a column pool in GCG, a
reoptimization feature for mixed binary problems, improved handling of
SOS type 1 and convex nonlinear constraints, as well as new and improved
primal heuristics, presolvers, and branching rules.
In addition to the SCIP Optimization Suite, a new version of SCIP-SDP, a
plugin to solve mixed integer semidefinite programs via SCIP, is also
available, see the link on the website. There are also new extensions of
SCIP for multi-objective optimization and Steiner tree problems.
