The International Conference of Production Research, ICPR - Americas 2020, aims at exchanging experiences and encouraging collaborative work among researchers and practitioners from the Americas and the Caribbean region. The conference also seeks to plan and organize the activities of the Americas Region of the International Foundation of Production Research (IFPR). The conference venue will be at Universidad Nacional del Sur at Bahía Blanca, Argentina.

The Conference will be held in VIRTUAL MODE. Participants will have to present their papers through video conference.

PROCEEDINGS:

1. All ICPR-Americas 2020 accepted papers will be published in digital repository with the proper ISSN of the conference.

2. CCIS Springer (Communications in Computer and Information Science). https://link.springer.com/bookseries/7899

A comittee of experts will select a number of outstanding papers to be published in a special issue of CCIS Springer (in the case of a non-English language paper, 20 days will be granted to provide a translation). The main topics for this special issue will be related to Computer Science (for instance: metaheuristics, algorithms, intelligent systems, decision sciences, machine learning, cyber-physical systems, simulation, smart cities, cloud computing, paralellism, etc.)
