[DMANET] Two-year postdoc on optimisation at Uppsala University (Sweden)

Uppsala University (Sweden) within a national consortium of industry and
academia is now beginning an exciting two-year project that focuses on
the next generation of sawmills: Better Sawing (stage 2), which is
financed by Vinnova.

The aim of the project is to increase the amount of high-value products
that can be industrially sawn from a tree trunk, and thus increase the
profitability of sawmills.

We are looking for motivated postdoc applicants, with a PhD education
related to combinatorial optimisation methods, including constraint
programming, or integer programming, or ideally both: see
https://uu.se/en/about-uu/join-us/details/?positionId=367156 for details.
