Dear Colleagues,
It is a pleasure to invite you to participate in the first keynote of
the 1st International Workshop on Cyber Forensics & Threat
Investigations Challenges in Emerging Infrastructures on "AI and NLP
for Future Investigations"
This keynote will take place online on 14 December 2020 at 07:00-08.00
AM (GMT), and it will feature a speech by Mr. Christian Berg, the CEO
of Paliscope, Co-founder of Safer Society Group, NetClean, Griffeye,
and Paliscope.
Abstract:
In our world, we continue to produce more and more content which makes
it critical to turn to new technologies, to find the pattern in the
data, and find the needle in the haystack, even when not knowing how
the needle looks. At the same time, we make it easier and easier to
produce fake content. The latest Natural Language Processing
technologies are able to create texts which are hard for a human to
distinguish as fake. And it is easy to mass-produce them. We have deep
fakes producing fake images and videos with a single click of a
button. At the same time, we are depending on using these technologies
when solving cases. There are many challenges in introducing new
technologies in the workflow of an investigation but the opportunities
are massive and Natural Language Processing and AI are definitely part
of the future.
