*Objective*
EGETC 2023 is an international gathering to bring researchers and
governments into the ultimate developments and applications suitable for
governments using Artificial Intelligence techniques, IoT, Big Data, and
other emerging technologies. AI can play a crucial role in supporting the
perpetual fight of the public sector to simplify processes or increase
efficiency. The escalating demand for services that better answer changing
user expectations of responsiveness and personalization, linked with higher
expectations on the role of the government in the digital age, requires a
technologically mature public sector.
The current wave of digital transformation in government can use AI to
deliver services closer to users' needs and preferences and thus have the
potential to improve them. Specifically, the conference aims to advance
both research and practice worldwide on cutting-edge technology to improve
governance.
