[DMANET] Full Professorship in Discrete Mathematics at TU Berlin

invites applications for the position of full professor in the area of "Discrete Mathematics". (Reference Number: II-196/13)

Responsibilities: We are looking for individuals with an outstanding research record in the field of Discrete Mathematics, in particular Discrete Geometry and related areas. Collaborations with existing groups in Discrete Optimization and Combinatorics at TU Berlin and within the entire Mathematics Landscape of Berlin, including the MATHEON and the Berlin Mathematical School, are desirable.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be involved in the DFG Research Training Group 1408 "Methods for Discrete Structures" and the Transregional Collaborative Research Center 109 "Discretization in Geometry and Dynamics".

He or she will be expected to be active in teaching for the mathematical study programs at TU Berlin, as well as for the Berlin Mathematical School. A certain amount of service teaching will also be expected.

Requirements: Fulfillment of the professional requirements in compliance with § 100 of the Berlin State Higher Education Act [BerlHG] (the information leaflet will be forwarded upon request).
