[DMANET] 27th British Combinatorial Conference (BCC 2019)

Dear colleagues,

We would like to announce the 27th British Combinatorial Conference (BCC 2019) that will be held at the University of Birmingham from 29th July to 2nd August 2019.

There will be 9 plenary lectures:

- Michael Krivelevich (Tel Aviv), who will deliver the Clay Lecture
- Penny Haxell (Waterloo), who will deliver the Richard Rado Lecture
- Dan Král' (Masaryk and Warwick)
- Kristin Lauter (Microsoft Research)
- Hendrik van Maldeghem (Ghent)
- Iain Moffatt (Royal Holloway)
- Igor Pak (UCLA)
- Daniel Paulusma (Durham)
- Gábor Tardos (Rényi Institute)

Through the generous support of the Heilbronn Institute there will be six invited mini-symposia:

- Additive Combinatorics (organized by J. Wolf): O. Janzer, S. Lindqvist, O. Serra, S. Stevens.
- Designs and Latin Squares (organised by P. Cameron): R. Bailey, S. Goryainov, M. Paterson, I. Wanless.
- Extremal Combinatorics (organised by O. Pikhurko): P. Allen, J. Böttcher, D. Conlon and Z. Füredi.
- Graph Colouring (organised by Z. Dvořák): M. Bonamy, J. van den Heuvel, R. Kang, L. Postle.
- Probabilistic Combinatorics (organised by D. Conlon): M. Bucic, S. Gerke, M. Jenssen, J. Lee.
- Ramsey Theory (organised by M. Axenovich): A. Dudek, A. Gyárfás, D. Mubayi, A. Pokrovskiy.

Early bird registration is already open and available until 31st May 2019. All participants are encouraged to submit an abstract on a topic related to the conference and give a 20-minute presentation.

Through the partnerships with the London Mathematical Society and the Clay Mathematics Institute, we have a significant amount of support available for students and early-career participants, and for participants working in developing countries.
