*SCOPE*

The 1st *international Applied Bioinformatics Conference* (iABC'20) will
serve as an excellent international convention for sharing knowledge,
challenges and results in applied research in Bioinformatics and
Informatics. The conference especially welcomes work centered on the
application of Bioinformatics concepts and algorithms for biological
knowledge generation and welcomes topics relating to challenges of
biological applications and use cases which are still not solved properly
in order to open new directions for further informatics research. iABC'20
also invites papers relating to cutting edge information technology applied
on biological use cases, Bioinformatics tools/workflows, best practices,
calls for novel algorithms, translation of novel algorithms, and
workshops/hands-on tutorials of novel Bioinformatics tools and workflows.

Authors are invited to submit electronically original contributions in
English. Submitted papers should not exceed 10 pages in pdf in LNCS format <
http://www.springer.de/comp/lncs/authors.html>. One of the authors of an
accepted paper must register to iABC'20 conference and present the paper. For
