The Department of Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science (MSCS) has
active research programs in a broad spectrum of centrally important areas
of pure mathematics, computational and applied mathematics, mathematical
computer science, probability and statistics, and mathematics education.

The MSCS Department seeks applicants for an Assistant Professor to join the
Mathematical Computer Science group. Applicants working in the areas of
theoretical computer science and mathematical computing are especially
encouraged. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in
mathematics, computer science or a related field, an outstanding research
record, and evidence of strong teaching ability. The salary is negotiable.
The position is effective August 16, 2020. Final authorization of the
position is subject to the availability of funding.

Applicants should provide a vita, research and teaching statements, and at
least three (3) letters of recommendation including one that addresses
