[DMANET] Lecturer/Senior Lecturer Positions in Business Analytics

Kent Business School is seeking to appoint a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Business Analytics to join the Department of Analytics, Operations and Systems on either an Education and Research (E&R) or an Education, Scholarship and Professional Practice (ES&P) contract.

The successful applicant will lead and contribute to the delivery of Business Analytics modules at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. In particular, the post holder will be expected to provide teaching in one or more of the following: optimisation, decision analysis, data analytics, statistics, advanced spreadsheet modelling, simulation, performance management and project management, or possibly new modules in the successful candidate's own area of expertise.

In addition to previous teaching experience, the post holder should have a clearly defined research or scholarship agenda with a track record or clear potential to publish in top peer-reviewed journals or professional journals. Evidence of income generation, research impact, scholarship or corporate engagement is expected in the case of appointments to Senior Lecturer level. Although all cognate areas of Business Analytics will be considered, we are particularly interested in applicants with research or scholarship expertise in areas that the Department of Analytics, Operations and Systems is looking to grow, including (but not limited to) optimisation, decision analysis, simulation, healthcare analytics, performance management, Soft OR, and Systems Thinking.

Applicants who are keen to contribute to the development of key research themes within the School, including healthcare, transportation, and sustainability are particularly encouraged to apply.
The closing date for both positions is 1 November 2021. For more information or to apply, please follow the links below.
