[DMANET] Call for Optimization and Algorithms International Conference (OPAL 2023)

Dear Colleague,

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we invite you to participate to the conference

Optimization and Algorithms International Conference (OPAL 2023)

which will take place in Veszprem, Hungary (near to the lake Balaton)
from June 5 to June 9, 2023.

This conference is free-of-charge for all participants.

Note that, in 2023, Veszprem is the Cultural Capital of Europe.

The registration is already possible, and we encourage all potential

conference is planned to start in the early afternoon ofJune 5, and to
finish in the late morning of June 9.) The conference web site helps you
to choose the hotel.

The Conference is organized by the Faculty of Information Technology,
University of Pannonia.

The Program Committee is:

Gyorgy Dosa, University of Pannonia, Hungary (chair)
Hans Kellerer, University of Graz, Austria
M. Grazia Speranza, University of Brescia, Italy

The conference is devoted to Discrete Optimization, It will will focus
on the study of discrete mathematical models (e.g. graphs and
hypergraphs), the algorithmic complexity of combinatorial problems,
approximability in discrete optimization, but will also include other
areas of discrete mathematics, including discrete geometry, online and
semi online scheduling and bin packing.

The conference is also devoted to celebrate the 70-th birthday of Zsolt
Tuza and to celebrate the past 25 years of semi online problems.

Proceedings: A conference booklet will collect the abstracts of the presented talks and will be shared on the conference web site:

https://mik.uni-pannon.hu/en/conferences/semi-online/home

Deadline for submission of abstracts: April 5, 2023.

Notification of acceptance: April 30, 2023.

The abstract (containing the name of the author(s) and the title of the talk) should not be longer than half page. Style and sample files are on the homepage.

Information about abstract submission, registration, accommodation, travelling, conference location, etc., can be found at the conference web site.

The scientific program of the conference will consist of invited
lectures and contributed talks.
