Ph.D. position for a full-time, temporary position (can be extended) at
the LIT Secure and Correct Systems Lab

We are looking for a university assistant (PhD position) at the LIT
Secure and Correct Systems Lab. Supervision by Univ.- Prof. Dr. Stefan Rass.
Research area: Supply Chain Security.

The position is fully funded and full-time (40 hours per week) and
initially limited to 2 years with the possibility of an extension for
another 4 years. The place of work is the JKU Campus Linz.

Job Duties:

    Independent execution of scientific work in the field of supply
chain security
    Independent preparation of scientific publications
    Presentation of research results at scientific conferences (travel)
    Cooperation with Austrian and international researchers/research
teams and industry
    Collaboration on application-oriented research in the field of
supply chain security, including the development of prototypes and
demonstrators
    2 hours of teaching per semester (if required)

Your Qualifications:

The successful candidate must hold a Diploma/Master's degree in Computer
Science or Mathematics, conferred by a university in Austria or abroad,
or comparable educational qualifications.

Expertise in a minimum of one of the following areas:

    SupplyChainSecurity
    Game Theory for security
    Data Science and artificial intelligence with applications insecurity
    Network security and cryptography
    IT risk management
    Security economics

Strong proficiency in English, both spoken and written (English level
C1), German (level B1) is of advantage

    On the basis of full-time employment (40 hours/week) the minimum
salary in accordance with the collective agreement is € 3,277.30 gross
per month (14 x per year, CA Job Grade: B1)
