** Teaching profile **
The recruited person will be affiliated to the MIDO department of the University of Paris Dauphine - PSL, but they may also occasionally teach in the other departments. The department's teaching needs are both numerous and varied in computer science, and more particularly marked in disciplines relating to data. The ability to teach a broad spectrum of computer science disciplines and the willingness to intervene more particularly at undergrad level will be favored. In the long term, the recruited person is expected to invest in responsibilities educational in the MIDO department. The artificial intelligence skills of the recruited person will be very appreciated, particularly in double IA/SO bachelor program (Sciences of Organizations) whose third year will open at the start of the 2024 school year. These skills are also required in Master 1 I2D and Master 2 IASD, and more generally in all training courses containing teaching in artificial intelligence, decision sciences and science of data. It should be noted that the master's courses are taught in English. The knowledge of French language skills are therefore not required to apply. The person recruited (if they have never held the position of lecturer previously) will have a teaching load of 96 hours the first year, then 128 hours the following two years. They will also benefit from pedagogical training workshops, provided by the Center of Pedagogical Innovation from Paris Dauphine University - PSL.
** Research profile **
The recruited person will develop their research activities within the framework of scientific orientations of LAMSADE, Paris-Dauphine University - PSL and the PRAIRIE Institute. We are looking for a candidate in artificial intelligence, science data or decision, and whose research is part of one or ideally several themes developed by the "decision support" and "data science" centers of the LAMSADE, in particular:
- search algorithms in large state spaces, planning, satisfaction constraints, satisfiability, heuristic search
- artificial learning (machine learning), reinforcement learning, deep learning, large language models, fairness, trusted AI, robustness of models
- computational social choice, decision in uncertainty, multi-criteria decision, theory algorithmic games.
- management of massive data, data generation, graphs of knowledge, process mining, stream processing
** Research center description: **
LAMSADE is a laboratory of Paris-Dauphine University and the CNRS. Our research activity is located at the meeting of two fundamental disciplines: Computer Science and Decision Support (and more specifically Operations Research). Our research themes concern both fundamental aspects and applied aspects, and are based around decision support and the theory of decision and games and social choice, operations research, optimization combinatorics, algorithmic complexity, mathematical programming, interactions between decision-making and artificial intelligence, databases, machine learning and service engineering. It is structured into three poles: "Decision support", "Combinatorial, algorithmic optimization", "Sciences of Data".
The recruited person will benefit from an environment of excellence and will have access to numerous resources, notably thanks to Paris Sciences et Lettres and the 3IA institute
