[DMANET] One-year academic position at ULB (Brussels, Belgium)

Vacancy for a 1-year academic position in the ULB Mathematics Department
— this is a postdoctoral position, with teaching IN FRENCH.

- Description

The Faculty of Sciences of the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB) announces a vacancy for a 1-year full-time academic position in the Department of Mathematics starting October 1, 2024, with the possibility of an extension of 1 additional year.

The person sought is expected to provide high quality teaching and conduct high-level research. Research in Algebra and/or Discrete Mathematics is an asset. Candidates must have a doctoral thesis in a field of mathematics, and have published research articles of international standing. The candidate's research will strengthen one of the research teams of the Department of Mathematics.
The successful candidate will teach in French at various levels in mathematics, for a total of around 100 hours of teaching (the candidate may be required to teach exercise sessions, which are counted towards this total).

- A Curriculum Vitae,
- A research project for the next few years,
- A text presenting the most important publications (maximum 5), and a copy of these publications.

The deadline for applications is 17/3/2024.
