[DMANET] Student Grants for the Lisbon Blockchain Winter School (LxBWS): deadline November 9

1st Edition of the Lisbon Blockchain Winter School (LxBWS)


The call for applications for the 1st Edition of the Lisbon Blockchain
Winter School (LxBWS) <https://lxbws.tecnico.ulisboa.pt/index.html> is open
until 9 November 2024.


The LxBWS, which will take place at Instituto Superior Técnico from 10 to
14 February 2025, will provide a comprehensive programme with lectures,
practical hands-on laboratory sessions, and poster sessions on the latest
developments and applications of blockchain technology. The programme will
also include collaboration and networking events between all the school
participants.


The LxBWS offers lectures with leading experts from prestigious academic
institutions such as Carnegie Mellon, Faculty of Sciences of Universidade
de Lisboa and LASIGE, Instituto Superior Técnico and INESCID, University of
Cagliari, University of Bern, MIT and Católica Lisbon, but also from the
Blockchain industry ecosystem such as Anchorage Digital, Unlockit,
Holywally and Blockchain.PT.


The LxBWS programme is designed for Researchers, PhD students, IT
professionals and Blockchain enthusiasts. A limited number of LxBWS grants
will be available for students and/or junior researchers and will fully
cover the registration fee.


The LxBWS is organised in the scope of the BIG ERA Chair
<https://bigerachair.tecnico.ulisboa.pt/> Project (GA 952226), a project
funded by the European Commission involving Técnico, INESC-ID and
ITI-LARSyS.
