[DMANET] University Assistant (PostDoc) in the field of combinatorial probability at TU Graz

The Institute of Discrete Mathematics at TU Graz is looking to hire a University Assistant (PostDoc) in the field of combinatorial probability. The contract duration is 72 months, starting March 2026.

Admission Requirements: PhD in mathematics

Desired Qualification:

* Solid knowledge and research experience in the fields analytic combinatorics and analysis of random discrete structures
* Ability and willingness to conduct independent research in the above mentioned fields
* Very good knowledge of German (required for teaching from the very beginning) and very good knowledge of English
* Experience with teaching mathematics, in particular classes for engineering students
* Experience with teaching classes with a large number of participants
