Begen, Ph.D. Associate Professor, Management Science Ivey Business School at Western University June 2, 2026 Postdoctoral Associate Position – Ivey Business School, Western University https://www.ivey.uwo.ca/ A Postdoctoral Associate position is available in Management Science at Ivey Business School, Western University, starting from Fall 2026. Position Summary This postdoctoral associate position prioritizes research. We seek individuals who have research experience within the broad area of management science, operations research, economics, and operations management. Potential research topics include incentive design, congestion modelling, principal-agent framework, optimization, queuing analysis, simulation, and machine learning. Application areas can be diverse, although public service and healthcare are the focus. The successful candidate will work closely with Dr. Mehmet A. Begen and Dr. Prashant Chintapalli in the Management Science Area Group at Ivey. The candidate will actively contribute to ongoing and new research projects, with expectations of also taking a leadership role in other independent research projects. This partnership is expected to lead to scholarly publications in leading academic journals. Qualifications and Requirements The position is contingent upon completion of your Ph.D. degree. Candidates should have a PhD in a quantitative field such as operations research, engineering, economics, mathematics, or computer science.
