One doctoral position and two postdoctoral positions in combinatorics are
available at the Faculty of Mathematics of the University of Vienna. The
positions are within the framework of the START project "Compact
enumeration formulas for generalized partitions" which is funded by the
Austrian Science Foundation FWF, led by Ilse Fischer and deals with recent
topics in enumerative combinatorics and statistical physics.

Successful candidates will join the combinatorics group
http://www.mat.univie.ac.at/~kratt/comb.html

Both postdoctoral positions will be for a period of one year, with
possible extension for up to three years. The doctoral position is for
three years and suitable for a candidate who is interested in writing a
doctoral thesis on a topic related to my research. Each position comes
along with substantial travel funding and is available from May 1, 2010
(negotiable).

Applications, including CV, list of publications and the names of two
