Professorship in Informatics, University of the Faroe Islands

We'd be grateful if you could post the following position announcement on
the THEORYNT list, or advise why it cannot.

The University of the Faroe Islands, Faculty of Science and Technology,
invites professorship applications in Information and Communication
Technology (ICT) in the areas of Software Engineering, Computer Science,
Computer Engineering, or System Development. The level of appointment
will be as full, associate, or assistant professor, depending on the
qualifications of the successful applicant.

Application deadline is December 1, 2010, position is available from
January 1, 2011 (see the details in the attached .pdf file)

The announcement is intentionally made general to keep it open for
applicants at all levels in a broad range of CS disciplines.

A non-exhaustive list of relevant research interests includes: high
performance computing, algorithms and data structures, databases,
security, cryptography, game theory, mathematical and combinatorial
optimization, operations research, bioinformatics, scientific
computing (e.g., for oceanography, geophysics, ecology, climate, oil
exploration, fishery, etc.), systems programming and operating systems
(especially open source), programming theory, computer-aided
verification...
