(Applied Algorithmics Lab, UConn)
Multiple Ph.D. and a post-doctoral position in the general area of
bioinformatics are open in the Applied Algorithmics Lab at the University of
Connecticut.
The candidates for PhD Research Assistant positions should have strong
analytical and algorithmic skills.
The post-doctoral candidates should have a strong background in
bioinformatics (especially involving algorithms). Familiarity with motif
search algorithms will be a plus. They must have received or be very close
to getting their PhD's. Publications in relevant Bioinformatics venues are
expected.
These positions are partially supported by a recent NIH R01 grant and are
