2 Research positions - Algorithms and Complexity
University of Liverpool (Department of Computer Science), and
Queen Mary, University of London (School of Mathematical Sciences)
This is a preliminary announcement of two 3-year postdoctoral
research fellowships in connection with an EPSRC-funded project
"Computational Counting"
held by professors Martin Dyer (Leeds), Leslie Ann Goldberg (Liverpool)
and Mark Jerrum (Queen Mary, London).

One position will be held at the University of Liverpool, and the other at
Queen Mary, University of London. Both positions are for three years.
Starting salary: 31,671 GBP (plus a London allowance of 1,988 GBP ).
The start date is 01 March 2011, though a later start date may be negotiable.
Suitable candidates will have a PhD in algorithms and computational complexity
or a closely related area of discrete mathematics.
The project will involve close collaboration between the three sites,
and the research fellows will join active research groups in algorithms
and complexity and combinatorics at Liverpool and Queen Mary.
