[DMANET] Two PhD studentships/postdoc positions

Applications are invited for two

PhD studentships/postdoc positions
("TVL-E13" positions, full-time, up to 4 years)

at Goethe University Frankfurt.

The application deadline is Aug 1st, 2012.

The positions are funded by the ERC starting grant "Phase transitions and computational complexity".

Applicants should have an interest in at least one of

- combinatorics/probability theory (particularly the study of random discrete structures)
- discrete algorithms (particularly Markov Chain Monte Carlo)
- computational complexity
- analytic combinatorics
- information theory
- mathematical statistical mechanics
