[DMANET] Postdoc position in combinatorics

Dear colleagues,

there is an opening for a postdoctoral position
at the University of Warwick in the areas of
extremal combinatorics, graph theory or related
algorithmic questions. The formal description
follows (note the deadline at the end of Feb).
I will be very happy to answer informal inquiries.

Best regards,

Dan Kral

University of Warwick, Coventry

Department of Computer Science

Research Fellow

Fixed Term Contract for 11 Months

You will be expected to perform high quality research in algorithm
design and/or extremal combinatorics under the supervision of
Professor Daniel Kral within the framework of an ERC funded project
"Classes of Combinatorial Objects: from Structure to Algorithms"
(CCOSA).

You will possess a PhD or an equivalent qualification in Mathematics
or Computer Science (or you will be shortly before obtaining it). You
should have a strong background in one or more of the following areas:
structural graph theory, graph limits, extremal combinatorics, model
theory and fixed parameter tractability. The post is based in
Department of Computer Science but a close interaction with members of
Warwick Mathematics Institute and members of the DIMAP centre is
expected.

Candidates should provide with their application form a CV, a list of
publications and a research statement.

Please note that this post is available from 1 October 2014 until 31
