Applications are invited for a continuing Lecturer (Assistant Professor) position in Graph Theory in the School of Mathematics and Statistics, The University of Melbourne, Australia.


The successful applicant is expected to undertake high-level research in graph theory. He or she should also have a strong commitment to teaching and supervision of research students. Teaching will occur within the School of Mathematics and Statistics undergraduate and MSc programs and the applicant will be expected to teach mathematics and its applications to a variety of audiences. The successful applicant is also required to supervise research students at undergraduate, MSc and PhD levels in graph theory.

Classification: Lecturer Level B


Salary: $95,434 - $113,323 (Australian dollar) p.a.


Superannuation: Employer contribution of 17%
