you are cordially invited to participate in the 2-days workshop on "Robust
Optimization" at the University of Avignon on the 28th and 29th of June
2018. This workshop aims at regrouping the different approaches to static
and adjustable robust optimization, ranging from combinatorial optimization
and integer programming to convex optimization and distributionally robust
approaches.
We are delighted to announce the following invited speakers:
- Dick den Hertog (Tilburg University)
- Adam Kasperski (Wroclaw University of Technology)
- Wolfram Wiesemann (Imperial College London)
In addition, there is room for around 8 contributed presentations, lasting
30 to 45 minutes. If you are interested in giving a presentation, or simply
to participate in the workshop, please send your name and affiliation to
Marc Goerigk (m.goerigk@lancaster.ac.uk). The participation is free but
registration is necessary for organizing the lunch and coffee breaks.
The workshop will be held at the Université d'Avignon et des Pays de
Vaucluse, right in the center of the lovely town of Avignon. Notice that it
is located 5-6 hours by train from Bordeaux where the ISMP will take place
making it easy to combine the two events.
