[DMANET] Vacancy - Optimisation and Data Science Software Engineer - KTP Associate

[Apologies for multiple postings]

Applicants are invited to apply for a Knowledge Transfer Partnership
(KTP) between the University of Nottingham (School of Computer Science)
and 121 Systems in Nottingham.

The Associate will work with 121 Systems to develop and deploy new
optimisation systems for vehicle routing, logistics and scheduling. The
systems will be tailored for vehicle fleets that include low-and
zero-emissions vehicles, e.g. hybrids, electric, and ground-based
autonomous vehicles. It will also exploit optimisation techniques to
manage dynamic and flexible placement/usage of load transfer locations.
The project will hence provide intelligent decision support software to
promote best usage of a heterogeneous fleet of vehicles. The resulting
system will aim to reduce overall costs for the users, but also reduce
environmental impacts, for example, by making better usage of
low-emissions vehicles.
