Short Description:
The Zuse Institute Berlin (ZIB) is offering a PhD student position for a three-year project in the frame of the Cluster of Excellence MATH+.
Aim of the project is the development of analysis methods for empirically defined shape trajectories.
This research will be driven by applications from cardiology and archaeology.
The focus will be on the development of statistical methods for non-Euclidean shape spaces, based on Riemannian splines.
