Call for proposals of workshops co-located with SODA 2020
The next SODA conference will be held on January 5-8, 2020, in Salt
Lake City. In addition to the ALENEX and SOSA workshops, which will be
co-located with the conference, the SODA Steering Committee welcomes
proposals for additional workshops to run concurrent to the
conference. If you are interested in organizing such a workshop,
please submit a short proposal describing the workshop, which
addresses the following points in particular.
* The description of background on the topic as a research area and
its relation to the focus of SODA, ALENEX and SOSA.
* The goal of the workshop and the target audience.
* The names of the organizers, and possibly people who have indicated
their interest in participation, at least in principle.
* A Call for Paper (Participation) draft, as complete as possible
* Workshop format (expected number of submissions/presented papers,
invited talks, panels, expected number of participants, etc.)
* Prior history of this workshop, if any.
Deadline for submitting proposals: March 1, 2019.
Please email proposals to Shanghua Teng <shanghua.teng@gmail.com>, the
chair of the SODA steering committee.
