[DMANET] Open PhD position "Evolutionary Diversity Optimisation"

The Optimisation and Logistics group at the

School of Computer Science,
The University of Adelaide, Australia

has a 3 year scholarship available for a Ph.D. Student working
within the ARC Discovery Project "Evolutionary Diversity Optimisation".

We are seeking an excellent candidate with a master or diploma in
mathematics, theoretical computer science or a related field.
The successful applicant should carry out theoretical work on
evolutionary algorithms, ant colony optimisation, and related bio-inspired computing methods.
Candidates having experiences in the field of randomised methods, statistics and/or
computational complexity of bio-inspired computation are highly encouraged to apply.

Currently, around 20 researchers
from several nationalities work in the Optimisation and Logistics group.
The group collaborates with several of the major research
institutions in Europe and the U.S. and has high international visibility.
