The giCentre, within the Department of Computer Science, is keen to support outstanding candidates with a good honours or Master degree in a relevant area who are interested in applying for this program and who wish to pursue a PhD in areas such as
- algorithms
- computational geometry
- algorithmic data analysis
- data visualisation and GIS.
We are particularly interested in candidates with a good algorithmic background who are also interested in applications, experiments and efficient implementations.
