[DMANET] Full Professor Position (W3) in “Efficient Algorithms and Complexity Theory” at TU Dortmund University

The Department of Computer Science at TU Dortmund University (https://tu-dortmund.de/en) is seeking to fill the position of a Full Professor Position (W3) in "Efficient Algorithms and Complexity Theory" commencing as soon as possible.

TU Dortmund University is seeking an outstanding individual and well established researcher in the field of "Efficient Algorithms and Complexity Theory" with relevant international publications in recognized venues, including those with peer-review.

Applicants should complement the research activities of the Department and contribute to interdisciplinary collaborative research projects within and outside TU Dortmund University. Experience in raising third-party funds is expected.

An appropriate contribution to the department's curriculum – in the medium term also in German language – is expected.

The successful candidate will possess social and leadership skills and be willing to be involved in academic self-governance.

The recruitment requirements are based on § 36 and § 37 HG NRW (law governing universities in NRW).
