Theoretical Computer Science is mathematical and abstract in spirit, but it derives its motivation from practical and everyday computation. Its aim is to understand the nature of computation and, as a consequence of this understanding, provide more efficient methodologies. Journal Theoretical Computer Science welcomes all papers introducing or studying mathematical, logic and formal concepts and methods, provided that their motivation is clearly drawn from the field of computing.
For this Special Issue, some papers are selected and invited from the 2022 China National Conference of Theoretical Computer Science (NCTCS 2022), while there will be also an open call for papers.
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
Algorithms and data structures
Algorithmic game theory
Approximation algorithms and online algorithms
Automata, languages, logic, and computability
Bioinformatics
Combinatorial optimization
Complexity theory
Computational algebra and computational geometry
Computational learning theory
Cryptography and algorithmic coding theory
Experimental algorithmic methodologies
Graph algorithms and theory
Large graph algorithms and social network analysis
Optimization algorithms in economic and operations research
Parallel and distributed computing and multicore algorithms
Parameterized algorithms
Quantum computing
