PhD Position in Robust Automated Planning in collaboration with the Dutch railways
The Algorithmics group at TU Delft is looking for a talented computer science or mathematics master's graduate to join the research into planning algorithms and formal and learning-based methods in the group.
The challenge of this project is to support experts in automated planning systems, so that they could understand the algorithmic decisions, and to support their prompt reaction to real-world disruptions.
We believe in the hidden potential of synergies between formal and learning-based methods and envision the project to have both significant scientific and practical impact for the Dutch railways.
