*Multiple Positions in Computer Science at Assistant/Associate Professor
Level*
Located in downtown Toronto, the largest and most culturally diverse city
in Canada and on the territory of the Anishinaabeg, Haudenosaunee and the
Wendat Peoples, the Department of Computer Science in the Faculty of
Science at Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University)
invites applications for several tenure track positions at the rank of
Assistant or Associate Professor, effective July 1, 2023 or January 1, 2024.
Our department recognizes the historical and persistent barriers that
members of equity groups have faced, especially with entering the computer
science profession and we further recognize the tremendous value that
members with diverse identities, perspectives, thoughts and scholarship
bring. We therefore, strongly encourage applications from members of one or
more equity-deserving groups.
The department is in a strong growth phase. As such, we are currently
seeking strong candidates in all areas of computer science, but with
particular interest in Cybersecurity, Human-Computer Interaction,
Networking, Programming Languages, Robotics, Theory, and Visual Computing.

in accordance with Canadian immigration regulations. Candidates must
therefore indicate in their application if they are a permanent resident or
