University of Denmark, has an open position as postdoctoral researcher
starting from May 1, 2023, financed by the Independent Research Fund
Denmark. The scope of the project is within the theory of
nature-inspired algorithms and aims at deriving results on the running
time complexity and optimal parameter settings for evolutionary
computation, with a focus on estimation-of-distribution algorithms.
Candidates must have a PhD degree in computer science, applied
mathematics or related academic qualifications. Preference will be given
to candidates who can document a strong background in the theory of
randomized algorithms or of nature-inspired algorithms.
Further information can be obtained from Carsten Witt (cawi@dtu.dk).
