[DMANET] Postdoc in computational geometry at the University of Sydney

*Postdoc in computational geometry at the University of Sydney*

We are advertising a 2.5 years postdoctoral research fellowship in
computational geometry at University of Sydney, Australia. Expected start
date is mid-2023 (can be negotiated).

The successful applicant will conduct research with Joachim Gudmundsson and
André van Renssen in the Sydney Algorithms and Computing Theory

<https://sydneyalgorithms.wordpress.com/> group. The aim will be to design
effective algorithms and data structures in the broad area of computational
geometry. Pursuing your own research agenda and collaborating with other
local researchers (such as the members of the Sydney Algorithms and
Computing Theory (SACT) group and UNSW Algorithms group) is possible
and encouraged. The
successful applicant is expected to spend 80% on research and 20% on
teaching.


We are looking for outstanding PhD graduates (expected to have a PhD by the
start date) with a track record in the field of algorithms and
data structures, ideally with an emphasis on computational geometry.


Base Salary $97K - $107K p.a., + 17% superannuation
