[DMANET] Last call - 84th GI Workshop on Algorithms and Complexity (Theorietag) in Hamburg, Germany

Dear all,

the 84th GI Workshop on Algorithms and Complexity (Theorietag) will be held in Hamburg, Germany.

https://www.tuhh.de/algo/gi-theorietag-2023

The Theorietag is a recurring event featured by the Fachgruppe Algorithmen and Fachgruppe Komplexität of the GI - Gesellschaft für Informatik.

The workshop is aimed at all those interested in research in the field of theoretical computer science. The focus is mainly on complexity, algorithms and data structures, as well as parallel and distributed algorithms. We welcome presentations by junior researchers (PhD students) and senior researchers on recent topics in algorithms and complexity. There are no formal proceedings, so both published and unpublished work can be presented, without interfering with any past or future publication. A declared goal of the workshop is to enable contact between young and senior scientists.

The workshop will be held on 6 March, 2023, so that gives a great opportunity to participate in the STACS conference right afterwards (https://www.conferences.uni-hamburg.de/event/272/page/153-home).

The workshop is jointly organized by the Institute for Algorithms and Complexity and the Research Group for Theoretical Computer Science at Hamburg University of Technology.

Invited speaker: Prof. Sebastian Siebertz, Bremen University

Participation is free of charge.

If you would like to attend, please register until 22 February 2023 via e-mail to

Julia Ehrenbrecht, algo(at)tuhh.de

Participants are invited to give a contributed talk. We plan to allot about 25 minutes for each talk including discussion. If you want to give a talk, please provide the title and abstract in your e-mail.

We hope to welcome you in Hamburg,

Matthias Mnich and Antoine Mottet
