An International Conference on Bilevel Optimization will take place from
the 8th to the 11th of August 2023 at the University of Southampton, UK
(https://bilevelconference2023.org).
The conference will be a forum to discuss recent advances in all aspects
of bilevel optimization and connected areas such as mathematical programs
with equilibrium or complementarity constraints, optimization problems
under uncertainty, minmax optimization, semi-infinite optimization,
Stackelberg games, and the more general hierarchical optimization
problems.
CALL FOR STREAMS & ABSTRACTS
Abstracts are invited for talks and posters on any theoretical,
numerical, or application topic related to bilevel optimization. We
also welcome the organization of sessions/streams for the conference;
for details on how to proceed with submissions for streams or sessions,
see https://www.bilevelconference2023.org/call-for-abstracts
KEYNOTES SPEAKERS
Stephan Dempe, Technical University of Freiberg, Germany
Ivana Ljubic, ESSEC Business School, France
Martin Schmidt, The University of Trier, Germany
Jane Juan Ye, University of Victoria, Canada

SUMMER SCHOOL
As part of the conference, there will be a summer school on two of the
fastest growing areas of bilevel optimization:
Bilevel Optimization Algorithms & Models for Contemporary Energy Challenges
Lecturer: Miguel F. Anjos, University of Edinburgh, UK
Bilevel Optimization in Machine learning
Lecturers: Massimiliano Pontil and Riccardo Grazzi, Italian Institute of Technology, Italy
The details of the programme of the summer school are now available:

POSTER COMPETITION
PhD students and early-career researchers are invited to take part
in a poster competition by making a submission on any topic related
to bilevel optimization, as described above in the themes of the
conference. Submission opens on April 3rd, 2023.
REGISTRATION
Opens on the 3rd of April 2023. For planning purposes, details
of the fees and some important information can be found here:
