[DMANET] reminder: 3 PhD positions in OR at KU Leuven + 1 joint SKEMA / Leuven position

The research group ORSTAT of KU Leuven (Belgium) has a vacancy for three full-time PhD scholarships starting in September 2023, each for a period of four years. Additionally, there is also a vacancy for a full-time PhD scholarship in the framework of the joint KU Leuven - SKEMA doctoral program in AI & OM, in collaboration with SKEMA Business School (France). The researchers to be hired will work in the field of operations research; this work should lead to a PhD degree. The supervisors of the positions are prof. Roel Leus, prof. Jannik Matuschke, and prof. Hande Yaman (KU Leuven positions), and prof. Roel Leus and prof. David Rey (joint SKEMA / Leuven position). Some keywords of our research areas: combinatorial optimization, integer (linear) programming, stochastic and robust optimization, algorithm design, game theory, ... The candidates will find a dynamic and pleasant working environment in both universities, in groups that are actively involved in scientific research at the highest international level.
