The Department of Information and Electrical Engineering and Applied
Mathematics (DIEM) of the University of Salerno will open a one-year
postdoc position within the MORE-GREEN project on topics related to the
design of simple mechanisms, and the application of these mechanisms to
settings with green-aware agents.
Specific topics of interest are: Mechanism Design (mainly OSP and NOM
mechanism design), Algorithm Design (mainly greedy algorithm), Game
Theory (mainly extensive form game theory), Behavioral Economics.
The candidate must have a Ph.D. or equivalent qualification obtained in
Italy or abroad, in disciplines related to Computer Science, Computer
Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence. Physics,
Mathematics, or related disciplines, and a proven track record of
excellent publications in relevant top-tier AI/EconCS/OR/CSTheory/ML
conferences and journals. Background on (some of) the topics of interest
of the call is appreciated. Excellent written and spoken communication
skills in English are required.
The successful candidate will join the Computer Science Group, and will
collaborate with the partners of the MORE-GREEN consortium.
