[DMANET] Tenure-Track Professor in Discrete Mathematics at the University of Vienna

The Faculty of Mathematics at the University of Vienna seeks to appoint a

Tenure-Track Professor in the field of Discrete Mathematics.

We are looking for an outstanding early career scientist working in discrete mathematics and its interplay with other areas such as algebra, geometry, and theoretical computer science. The Faculty of Mathematics is characterized by the breadth of represented subjects, offering numerous opportunities for collaboration. The Tenure Track professorship will be affiliated with the Faculty's Key Research Area "Arithmetics, Algebra and Discrete Mathematics" (https://mathematik.univie.ac.at/forschung/arithmetik-algebra-und-diskrete-mathematik/). Research fields related to the advertised position include enumerative and algebraic combinatorics, special functions, as well as combinatorial aspects of representation theory and algebraic geometry.
