EURO Journal on Computational Optimization Special Issue: "Recent advances in using machine learning for optimization"
This special issue is on the occasion of EURO 2024 in Copenhagen, EJCO invites submission of high-quality and innovative papers focusing on the intersection and interplay of optimization and machine learning. This call for papers is open to the entire community of academics and practitioners. Both methodological contributions and innovative applications, typically validated through convincing computational experiments are equally welcome. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
* Learning-based Optimization Algorithms
* End-to-End Learning and Optimization
* Machine learning for Decision-Making under Uncertainty
* Hybrid algorithms combining machine learning and traditional optimization techniques
* Large Language Models for OR Modelling
* Joint Models of Prediction and Optimization
* Machine learning targeting applications in logistics, transportation, finance, healthcare, energy, and other domains
All contributions will be peer reviewed according to the usual standards of the EJCO journal.
Deadline for submission: Dec 15, 2024.
